COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Guidance
We have been closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and, following advice from Public Health England and the British Union of Churches, all church services and events will be cancelled for the next 4 weeks, starting from March 21st.
These are unprecedented times and we are calling every church member to take special time to prayer and seek Gods grace and mercy.
As a Leadership Team, we have been working very hard over the last few days to move the church online, so we can stay connected. Please see below what we have planned:
Every Thursday at 8 pm we will have a church-wide prayer. Any member can join and share a prayer request, following which Pastor Lorraine and another Elder will pray.
10:30 am – Join an interactive Bible Study on Zoom.
12 pm – Watch the weekly sermon and download your study worksheet.
We know that the true church isn’t limited to a building or a day. The church is amount people who gather to serve God and serve others. This new season, which the world finds itself in presents a real opportunity for us to be like the church in Acts, dozens of small groups, making up the larger body of Christ. We want to roll out our small groups plan, called Core Groups, next week. If you are interested in being a KCF Core Group host, please sign up to our webinar to receive resources and technical training on how to lead a group online. Details on our website & Social media
Helping those in need
With very tough times ahead for some families, we want to be able to help where we can. If you are in need or you know of someone who is, please do not hesitate to call any of the eldership.
The pastoral and eldership team will start to do phone visits, making sure we keep connected with you, but please do keep an eye on one another, especially our elderly and vulnerable.
This is all new to us as a team and there will be a certain about of trial and error. So please keep us in prayer as we do the same for you.
